Hello to all who visit this forum!

My name is Nick Lindsay and I am Chairman of Clyne Heritage Society in Brora, Sutherland, in the Highlands of Scotland.

Here, we have one of the most fascinating histories and heritage of anywhere in the Highlands of Scotland - please visit clyneheritage.com for more direct information.

This site has been set up by one of our members (Adam Brown), who has reacted in double quick fashion and the result is here for all to see - and I thank him wholeheartedly for his dedication and over-brimming enthusiasm!

Adam is also concerned with Scottish War Memorials, all things military in Scotland and also plane crashes in Scotland. He would be delighted with any information on any of these threads too.

Let me begin by welcoming you to the forum and to start the ball rolling by inviting any information or interest in Clynekirkton burial ground. Plaese feel free to begin threads on any topic relating to the parish.

Thanks for the kind words Nick. This forum is still very much a work in progress and I'll try and get a few more sections on it over the weekend.

I look forward to using this forum and seeing the postings of others interested in East Sutherland history.
Other forums I use have been very useful and enjoyable and I am sure this one will be at least equally so.
