At the moment doing some research on the above.

Has anybobdy any information on his place of burial or rank of Captain?

Thomas born 13 Mar 1863 Tillicoultry Clackmannnanshire.
Parents James Hunter (wool spinner) and Janet Murray

He had a brother John and 3 sisters Margaret, Janet and Elizabeth

1871 living at Stirling Street Tillicoultry

1881 living living with mother and 3 sisters at Roxburgh, St Batary Lane,
Galashiels Selkirkshire. Occupation Power Loom Turner

1887 married first wife Agnes Younger Galashields Selkirk

1891 living with wife and 2 children Agnes B and James at 57 Lintburn Street Galashiels Occupation Power Loom Turner.

1893 wife Agnes died Galashiels


1901 Living with Margaret Agnes 10 James 12 and John M D 2
at 18 Beanfoy St, Pulteneytown,Wick
occupation???Woolan Mill Message

1916 died 22 May 1h 30m am Aldersyde Brora daughter Agnes B present.
